After completing his apprenticeship, Grant worked for various cabinet shops gaining experience until establishing his own business G C Joinery in Colac in 2004.
Following several trips to Hervey Bay and a trip around Australia, Grant decided the best place in the world to settle down with his children Sam & Logan was Hervey Bay.
